GeoConcept import wizard enables you to connect to a wide range of data formats, including databases such as Oracle or Access, spreadsheets and flat file formats like Excel or csv files, and even to other GIS maps such as another GeoConcept map or a competitor format like shape files.

When your data is in GeoConcept, use scale dependent styles to make the thickness of a road casement and the size of a symbol is appropriate whatever zoom you are using.

In addition to flexible thematic mapping, GeoConcept offers many ways to make complex queries easy. GeoConcept easy interface enables you to create saved parameter queries so other users only need to respond to questions. There are tick box set up options or if you are familiar with SQL, you can just type in your instructions.

Results after running query that was created using a simple dialogue to specify what to select and which colour and symbol to use. In this case the user typed 'bank' as a response to a parameter query, asking 'what type of business are you interested in?

Easy ways to select, colour or mask specific data records

This set up box enables you to set up the colour and size of selected objects and either specify criteria or increase flexibility by typing in question to be answered each time the query is run. The SQL code fills in automaticaly or if you are a developer you can set the code up directly.
