Everything In GeoXploit

In addition to the features and functionality detailed on this page, GeoXploit Logistics includes all the features in GeoXploit

Editable AA road network

Editable AA road network

This AA map is styled to clearly display your data and can be edited so you can add extra roads (if for example you know a by-pass or link road is to be built along with your new depot or store, or perhaps you want to ignore roads which you know are too steep and icy for your vehicles in winter).

Ready-to-use truck speeds and ability to tailor speeds to suit your fleet

Ready-to-use truck speeds and ability to tailor speeds to suit your fleet

In addition to a ready-made drive time speed file based on the street network and truck speeds, there is also the functionality to edit the AA road network to incorporate speeds that suit your specific circumstances. For example, your drivers may drive more slowly because you are transporting livestock, or they may experience faster journey-times because they are using motorbikes. You can make your own speed files using the roads in GeoXploit Logistics.

If you want to further fine-tune speeds by editing the more detailed street network or adding speed data from real vehicles on the move captured via GPS, contact us.

Service Allocator:
Find the 20 nearest times & distances to allocate resources efficiently

This additional module is included in your GeoXploit Logistics so that you can, for example, append to each customer the distance and time to each of your franchisees, outlets, depots etc.

The map structure is set up to make it easy, there is no need to make extra fields. To display results, GeoXploit has a handy set of pre-made thematics to visualise your service allocation.

Links to vehicle routing and scheduling (e.g. TruckStops VRS)

Links to vehicle routing and scheduling (e.g. TruckStops VRS)

In addition to all the pre-made tabs and views in GeoXploit, the Logistics edition has an extra class of data called stops. This is especially configured to accept routing and scheduling information. It includes fields for delivery times, volumes and other data needed for logistics operations.

A command transfers data automatically between GeoXploit Logistics and TruckStops VRS. For other systems, talk to our advisors who can help you structure your files and set up data configurations to work with your own systems.

Ready-made maps with stops coloured by route and numbered by call sequence.

Ready-made maps with stops coloured by route and numbered by call sequence.

GeoXploit Logistics includes a special view tab which colours all the call points according to the route number entered and then displays the sequence number you have allocated to each stop. You can fill in the information directly from TruckStops VRS, add manually or link to your own external system.
